【Terms of use】

I. Transport model description

• Vehicle used for transport: The most suitable transport arrangement will be provided according to the cooperating service provider (Leader) and the needs of each event.
• Bike securing: Professional securing methods that meet safety standards will be used according to the vehicle type and event specifications.
• Bike collection points: Designated bike collection points are set according to different events or cooperating service providers (see 1. Overview of pickup/delivery points and schedule).
• Bike protection measures and shipping requirements: Please refer to the actual announcement for the specific event or service provider.
• Packaging and shipping requirements: The bike does not need to be disassembled, but easily detachable accessories on the bike (such as bottle cages) must be removed in advance. Leader or cooperating bike shops may help package key impact-prone areas. Packaging material fees are included in the package. Bare bikes without packaging will not be accepted for shipping. For special bike types (such as carbon fiber frames), if Leader deems reinforced packaging necessary, additional packaging material fees or reinforced packaging may be required.
• If packaging requirements are changed, Leader’s latest announced version shall prevail.

＊If this event has wrapping requirements, the bike sender must comply with the following: To reduce risks caused by unexpected vibration or collision during transport, bare bikes are strictly refused for this event.

(1) Protection of vulnerable parts: When handing over the bike before and after the race, the sender must properly wrap vulnerable parts of the bike to prevent scratches or collisions during transport.

(2) Mandatory wrapping standard: The wrapped areas must include at least the 6 key parts shown in the illustration below (see the guideline image below).

II. Safety and insurance plan

• Compensation throughout transport is handled according to Leader’s transport insurance, with a maximum compensation limit of NT$30,000 per bike. The actual compensation amount will be determined by Leader based on the extent of the damage. Leader currently does not offer additional insurance coverage.
• During bike handover and pickup, on-site staff will conduct complete inspections and photo records to ensure delivery safety at every stage.

III. Bike drop-off notes

• When handing over the bike, please remove all hanging accessories on the bike that are not screw-fixed (including rear bottle cages). Mounts may remain. This service does not assume responsibility for safekeeping in case of loss or damage.

【On-site bike handover/pickup procedures and notes】

I. Shipping inspection and photo process

• Pre-race bike handover: Staff will confirm the shipper’s information. After both parties check the bike condition, the traveler must upload photos to the inspection form. The bike can only be accepted after staff confirm completion.
• Race venue bike pickup: The recipient presents the order. After staff confirm the order is correct and both parties check the bike condition, the traveler uploads photos to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be collected.
• Post-race bike handover: Same process as pre-race bike handover.
• Post-race bike pickup: Same process as race venue bike pickup.

II. Reminder of additional fees for on-site operations

1. Late handover/pickup: During the event period, if the bike is not handed over or collected within the specified time, it will be deemed that this shipping/pickup service has been forfeited. You must arrange transport or subsequent handling of the bike yourself, and Leader will no longer be responsible for storage, contact, or transport assistance (except where affected by event organizer scheduling adjustments).
2. Overdue storage fee: If the bicycle is not collected within the announced pickup time at the Taiwan Taipei or Hsinchu bike drop-off shop after the race, a storage fee of NT$50 per bike per day will be charged starting from the following day. The bike may only be collected after all fees are paid. Storage is allowed for up to 1 month. If it exceeds 1 month, the fee will change to NT$100 per bike per day starting from the day after the 1-month period.

1. Service provision and disclaimer AsiaYo only provides the booking platform service. Actual bike shipping will be carried out with the assistance of partner Leader. During transport, bikes may be subject to unexpected vibration or collision risks. In the event of bike damage or accessory loss, subsequent claims and liability attribution will be handled by Leader and its insured Taian Cargo Carrier Liability Insurance policy. AsiaYo only acts as a matching/referral platform between travelers and Leader for bike pickup and delivery services, and is not the actual carrier. AsiaYo shall not bear joint liability for compensation or any obligation to make up for damage, loss, or insufficient claim settlement during transport. If travelers dispute the claim result, they should raise it directly with Leader. Leader shall communicate and handle the matter directly with the traveler and may not shift the dispute to AsiaYo or ask AsiaYo to compensate on its behalf.

2. Transport and protection requirements (must-read for bike senders)

• Wrapping requirement: To ensure eligibility for insurance claims, bare bikes are strictly refused. When handing over the bike, the sender must properly wrap vulnerable parts of the bike frame (including at least the 6 key areas shown in the guideline illustration).
• Accessory removal: Before handing over the bike, please be sure to remove all accessories or hanging parts that are not screw-fixed, including rear bottle cages. Mounts may remain. No responsibility will be assumed for safekeeping or compensation in case of loss or damage.

3. Insurance claims and exclusions (important) According to the cargo transport insurance policy held by the carrier, insurance claims will not be paid in the following situations, and neither Leader nor AsiaYo shall bear compensation liability:

• Loose packaging: Scratches or damage occurring during transport due to the sender (shipper) failing to properly wrap and protect the bike according to the requirements.
• Force majeure: Loss caused by typhoons, earthquakes, floods, or other force majeure events.
• Transport delay: Any direct or indirect loss caused by transport delays.
• Special characteristics: Natural wear such as rusting or fading caused by the material characteristics of the bicycle itself.
• Failure to preserve evidence: If damage to the bike is discovered, the recipient must immediately report it to on-site staff and preserve the scene and the bike in its original condition. If the bike is taken away without confirmation, the right to claim compensation will be forfeited.

4. On-site bike handover/pickup procedures and additional fees

• Photo inspection: For both pre-race and post-race handover/pickup, you must personally check the bike condition and upload photos to the inspection form as a record. Only after completion can the bike be handed over or collected.
• Late handover/pickup: During the event period, if the bike is not handed over or collected within the specified time, a service fee of NT$500 will be charged (except where affected by event organizer scheduling adjustments).
• Overdue storage fee: If the bike is not collected within the announced time, a fee of NT$50 per bike per day will be charged starting from the following day. If stored for more than 1 month, the fee will change to NT$100 per bike per day starting from the day after the 1-month period. The bike may only be collected after all fees are paid.

AsiaYo sports travel booking service process

1. Book online and submit your order: Choose your preferred race itinerary on the AsiaYo platform and complete the booking.
2. Receive the race information form: AsiaYo will send the Race Information Form by email within 48 business hours.
3. Fill in the race information: After receiving the email, please be sure to complete and return the required information within 24 hours to secure your registration spot.
4. Flight pre-departure notice: By pre-departure notice three months before the event starts, the exact flight number and departure/arrival times for each traveler will be officially announced.
5. Receive final itinerary information: 5-7 days before check-in, AsiaYo will update and send you the final detailed itinerary information.
6. On-site check-in and hotel stay: On race day or at hotel check-in, travelers with Taiwan nationality must bring the original copy of their ID card, and non-Taiwanese travelers must bring the original copy of their passport, in order to complete hotel check-in and collect race-related materials.
7. Taiwan bike drop-off point process:

• Complete booking: After completing the booking, you will receive an order confirmation.
• Receive bike drop-off voucher: Within 5 business days after placing the order, a bike drop-off voucher will be issued to the wallet of Leader’s official account for presentation when dropping off the bike at a Taiwan main island point.
• Drop off the bike: Bring your bike to the designated point and present the bike drop-off voucher to complete handover.
• Receive bike pickup voucher: A bike pickup voucher will be issued to the wallet of Leader’s official account for presentation when picking up the bike at a Taiwan main island point.
• Pick up the bike: Bring the bike pickup voucher to the designated point to collect your bike.

※1. Booking notes

• No transfer after ticket issuance: Whether the ticket is issued under a real-name system and must match the name on the identification document.
• Rules for changes in traveler count: Whether the name of a travel companion can be changed and whether a name change fee will be charged.

※2. Identification documents and check-in information

• Check-in time: Please complete seat assignment and check-in procedures at the airport counter 30 minutes before flight departure. If you are late, the company will release the seat to standby passengers at the airport. (It is recommended to arrive at the airport 60 minutes in advance.)
• ID requirements: When checking in, please present the booking reference, ID document (for Taiwanese travelers), or passport (for non-Taiwanese travelers) for identity and payment verification (original documents required). Children under 14 who do not hold a government-issued photo ID may use documents proving identity such as a household registration transcript or National Health Insurance card (child health booklet) instead.
• Check-in counter / terminal: Terminal / counter locations at Taipei Songshan Airport ( 台北松山機場 ) and Penghu Airport 澎湖機場.

※3. Baggage rules

• Checked baggage weight limit: Domestic flights 20kg (please pay overweight charges at the Mandarin Airlines counter. For details, please refer to the Mandarin Airlines official websiteLearn more.
• Carry-on baggage limit: Total weight must not exceed 7 kg.
• Prohibited items and liquid restrictions: Power banks, spare lithium batteries, and lighters (limited to 1) must be carried on your person. Knives, scissors, and camera tripods longer than 60 cm must be checked in.

• If a refund is processed because the flight cannot operate due to force majeure or other reasons not attributable to the passenger, then according to the Standard Contract Required and Prohibited Provisions, if the contract cannot be performed due to force majeure or other reasons not attributable to the traveler or the business operator, the operator shall return all fees already paid by the consumer without interest.
• Once the airfare in this itinerary has been confirmed and booked, a handling fee equal to 50% of the total airfare amount will be charged for any reason other than force majeure.
