【Terms of Use】

I. Transport Mode Description

• Bike transport: The most suitable transport arrangement will be provided according to the partner service provider (Leader) and the needs of each event.
• Bike securing: Professional securing methods that meet safety standards will be used according to the vehicle type and event specifications.
• Bike collection locations: Designated collection points are set according to different events or partner service providers (see "1. Overview of bike pickup/drop-off locations and schedule").
• Bike protection measures and shipping rules: Please refer to the actual announcement for the specific event or service provider.
• Packaging and shipping rules: The bike does not need to be disassembled, but easily detachable accessories on the bike (such as bottle cages) must be removed in advance. Leader or partner bike shops may help package key impact areas. Packaging material fees are included in the package, and unwrapped bikes are not accepted for shipping. For special bike types (such as carbon fiber frames), if Leader deems reinforced packaging necessary, additional packaging material or reinforced packaging fees may be required.
• If packaging rules are changed, Leader’s latest announcement shall prevail.

＊If wrapping is required for this event, the sender must comply with the following rules: To reduce risks caused by unexpected vibration or collision during transport, unwrapped bikes are strictly not accepted for this event.

(1) Protection of vulnerable parts: When handing over the bike before and after the race, the sender must properly wrap vulnerable parts of the bike to prevent scratches or collisions during transport.

(2) Mandatory wrapping standard: The wrapped areas must include at least the 6 key parts shown in the illustration below (see the guideline image below).

II. Safety and Insurance Plan

• Throughout the transport process, compensation is handled according to Leader’s transport insurance, with a maximum compensation limit of NT$30,000 per bike. The actual claim amount will be determined by Leader based on the extent of the damage. Leader currently does not offer additional insurance coverage.
• During both bike handover and pickup, on-site staff will conduct a complete inspection and photo record to ensure delivery safety at every stage.

III. Bike Drop-off Notes

• When handing over the bike, please remove all hanging accessories on the bike that are not screw-fixed (including rear bottle cages). Mounts may remain; however, this service assumes no responsibility for safekeeping if they are lost or damaged.

【On-site Bike Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures and Notes】

I. Shipping Inspection and Photo Process

• Pre-race bike handover: Staff will confirm the shipper’s information. After both parties check the bike condition, the traveler must upload photos to the inspection form. The bike can only be accepted after staff confirm completion.
• Race venue bike pickup: The recipient must present the order. After staff confirm the order is correct and both parties check the bike condition, the traveler must upload photos to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be released.
• Post-race bike handover: Same process as pre-race bike handover.
• Post-race bike pickup: Same process as race venue bike pickup.

II. Reminder of Additional Fees for On-site Operations

1. Late bike drop-off/pick-up: During the event period, if the bike is not dropped off or picked up within the specified time, it will be regarded as forfeiting this shipping/pick-up service. You must handle the transport or subsequent arrangements for the bike yourself, and Leader will no longer be responsible for storage, contact, or transport assistance (except where affected by event organizer scheduling).
2. Overdue storage fee: If the bicycle is not picked up within the announced post-race pickup time at the Taiwan Taipei or Hsinchu bike drop-off shop, a storage fee of NT$50 per bike per day will be charged starting from the following day. The bike can only be collected after all fees are paid. Storage is allowed for up to 1 month; if it exceeds 1 month, the fee will change to NT$100 per bike per day starting from the day after the overdue date.

【Bike Shipping Disclaimer and Service Notes】

1. Service Provision and Disclaimer AsiaYo only provides the booking platform service. Actual bike shipping will be carried out with the assistance of partner Leader. During transport, bikes may be exposed to unexpected vibration or collision risks. In the event of bike damage or accessory loss, subsequent claims and liability will be handled by Leader and its insured "Taian Cargo Carrier Liability Insurance" policy. AsiaYo only acts as a matching/referral platform for travelers and Leader’s bike pickup and delivery service, and is not the actual carrier. AsiaYo shall not bear joint liability for compensation or any obligation to make up for damage, loss, or insufficient insurance compensation during transport. If travelers dispute the claim result, they must raise it directly with Leader. Leader shall communicate and handle the matter directly with the traveler and may not shift the dispute to AsiaYo or ask AsiaYo to compensate on its behalf.

2. Transport and Protection Rules (Must Read for Senders)

• Wrapping requirements: To ensure eligibility for insurance claims, "unwrapped bikes" are strictly not accepted. When handing over the bike, the sender must properly wrap vulnerable parts of the bike (including at least the 6 key areas shown in the guideline illustration).
• Accessory removal: Before handing over the bike, please be sure to remove all accessories or hanging parts that are not screw-fixed (including rear bottle cages). Mounts may remain, but no responsibility will be assumed for their safekeeping or compensation in case of loss or damage.

3. Insurance Claims and Exclusions (Important) According to the cargo transport insurance policy held by the carrier, insurance claims will not be paid in the following situations, and neither Leader nor AsiaYo will bear compensation liability:

• Improper packaging: Scratches or damage occurring during transport because the sender (shipper) failed to properly wrap and protect the bike according to the rules.
• Force majeure: Loss caused by typhoons, earthquakes, floods, or other force majeure events.
• Transport delays: Any direct or indirect loss caused by transport delays.
• Special characteristics: Natural wear such as rusting or fading caused by the material characteristics of the bicycle itself.
• Failure to preserve evidence: If damage to the bike is discovered, the recipient must immediately report it to on-site staff and preserve the scene and the original condition of the bike. If the bike is taken away without confirmation, the right to file a claim will be forfeited.

4. On-site Bike Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures and Additional Fees

• Photo inspection: For both pre-race and post-race bike drop-off/pick-up, you must personally check the bike condition and upload photos to the inspection form as a record. Only after completion can the bike be accepted/released.
• Late drop-off/pick-up: During the event period, if you fail to drop off or pick up the bike within the specified time, an additional service fee of NT$500 will be charged (except where affected by event organizer scheduling).
• Overdue storage fee: If the bike is not picked up within the announced time, a fee of NT$50 per bike per day will be charged starting from the following day; if stored for more than 1 month, the fee will change to NT$100 per bike per day starting from the day after the overdue date. The bike can only be collected after all fees are paid.

AsiaYo Sports Travel Booking Service Process

1. Book online and submit your order: Select your preferred race package on the AsiaYo platform and complete the booking.
2. Receive the race information form: AsiaYo will send the "Race Information Form" by email within 48 business hours.
3. Fill in the race information: After receiving the email, please be sure to complete and return the required information within 24 hours to secure your registration spot.
4. Flight pre-departure notice: Three months before the event starts, via a "pre-departure notice", the exact "flight number" and "departure/arrival times" for each traveler will be officially announced.
5. Receive final itinerary information: 5-7 days before check-in, AsiaYo will update and send you the final detailed itinerary information.
6. On-site check-in and hotel stay: On race day or at hotel check-in, travelers with Taiwanese nationality must bring the original copy of their "ID card," and non-Taiwanese travelers must bring the original copy of their "passport" to complete hotel check-in and collect race-related materials.
7. Taiwan bike drop-off location process:

• Complete booking: After completing your booking, you will receive an order confirmation.
• Receive bike drop-off voucher: Within 5 business days after placing the order, a "bike drop-off voucher" will be issued to the Leader official account wallet for presentation when dropping off the bike at a Taiwan main island location.
• Drop off the bike: Bring your bike to the designated location and present the bike drop-off voucher to complete handover.
• Receive bike pick-up voucher: A "bike pick-up voucher" will be issued to the Leader official account wallet for presentation when picking up the bike at a Taiwan main island location.
• Pick up the bike: Bring the bike pick-up voucher to the designated location to collect your bike.

• If a refund is processed because the flight cannot operate due to force majeure or other reasons not attributable to the passenger, then according to the "Required and Prohibited Provisions of Standard Contracts," if the contract cannot be performed due to force majeure or other reasons not attributable to the traveler or the business operator, the operator shall return all fees already paid by the consumer without interest.
• Once the flight ticket in this itinerary is confirmed and booked, a handling fee equal to 50% of the total ticket amount will be charged for any cancellation not caused by force majeure.
