■Timing and Results Inquiry:
(1)
Chip timing service will be provided for competitive runners in this event. Participants must collect their bib number and timing chip during pre-race material pickup and attach the chip to the back of the bib. Do not attempt to remove it (or reattach it). Please read the chip usage instructions in the event handbook carefully, or follow assistance from on-site staff. Official race results announced by the organizer shall prevail.
(2)
According to World Athletics Technical Rule 19.24.5, a runner’s start time is the gun time. The organizer will begin timing from the official gun start, and this recorded time will be used as the basis for ranking and result statistics.
(3)
Please do not wear two or more bibs, or exchange chip bibs with others, as this may cause the chip to fail and make results impossible to calculate. This is also a violation of the event competition rules. Offenders will be disqualified and their results will not be counted.
(4)
The timing chip is the basis for official timing. Please make sure to pass through all timing checkpoints. The organizer will not be responsible for missing results caused by failure to use the chip according to event regulations.
(5)
Participants should assess their own ability, avoid rushing or pushing ahead, demonstrate sportsmanship, and allow stronger runners to start first.
(6)
Please assemble and start at the designated time. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants and withhold results if they start early or more than 10 minutes after the official start time.
(7)
Within three days after the race, an electronic finisher certificate will be proactively emailed to participants who complete the race within the time limit. Please make sure to provide your email address accurately. Participants may also download it from the website. The result search and print function can help runners find their records more quickly, and certificates may also be downloaded and saved for future use.
(8)
No results will be provided for participants who do not reach the finish line within the time limit or who are missing any chip checkpoint time.
(9)
Instructions for wearing the bib and chip placement:

■ Penalties for Violations:
(1) Violations of the following rules will result in disqualification:
- Illegally receiving drinks or food from others.
- Not wearing the event bib or official timing chip for this race.
- No chip timing record for start time, finish time, or any checkpoint time.
- Failure to follow officials’ instructions.
- Not wearing the bib on the front of the chest.
- It is strictly prohibited to bring pets, push strollers, or use inline skates, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles along the race route.
- Taking photos on the race course during the event in a way that affects other runners.
- Pets (cats and dogs) are prohibited from entering the race course.
(2) Violations of the following rules will result in disqualification and a one-year ban from events organized by this association:
- Receiving assistance from others during the race for personal gain (such as riding in a vehicle, being supported, etc.).
- Registering for a category that does not match one’s identity or eligibility documents.
- Violating sportsmanship and ethics (such as fighting, insulting referees or event staff, etc.).
- It is strictly prohibited for an unregistered person to replace a registered participant, and it is also prohibited to wear 2 or more chips. Once verified, the referee will announce disqualification, no timing will be provided, a 1-year ban will be imposed, and the names of both the substitute runner and the original registrant will be published online.
- Reproducing/copying bib numbers (please do not sell or reproduce bib numbers for sale on any online platform; verified violations will be referred for legal action under the laws of the Republic of China).
■ Bag Check:
Eligibility: Bag check service is only available to registered participants in the marathon, half marathon, and 10KM road run categories.
(1)
Bag drop-off and collection schedule for each category / Please complete bag drop early to avoid delaying your start time!

(2)
If participants require bag check service, they must use the organizer’s designated bag check bag (different colors are acceptable if the specifications are the same) as shown in the illustration.
Bag check bag requirements: official event bag dimensions (L63cm × W24cm × H39cm ±5cm), full zipper closure (to prevent items from falling out), and a transparent pocket for the bag check card (L23cm × W15cm ±3cm).
(3)
A bag check card is also printed on the participant bib. Before checking in your bag, please place the bag check card in the front pocket of the bag. Staff will accept the bag after stamping the receipt mark on the bib. When collecting your checked bag, please present your bib so staff can stamp it as collected before returning your bag. (Please keep valuables, fragile items, and electronic products with you. The organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage.) Compensation for a lost bag check bag is capped at NTD 1,000.
(4)
Bag check bags are also available for purchase in limited quantities at the bag check area on site. Water-resistant bags are priced at NTD 299. (They may be reused at events organized by the Road Runners Club of the Republic of China.)

■ Important Notes:
(1)
If a typhoon, assembly, parade, or other force majeure natural or human factor occurs before the race, the organizer has the right, with participant safety as the priority, to decide whether to cancel, postpone, relocate to an alternative venue, use an alternative route, or extend/shorten the course. Participants may not object. If the event is canceled for such reasons, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded (with an additional bank transfer fee of NTD 30 deducted).
(2)
Safety comes first. Event referees or doctors have the right to stop a participant from continuing the race based on their physical condition, and participants may not object.
(3)
Please carry identification with you for verification.
(4)
If a substitute runner and the original registrant are found to be involved, the chief referee will declare the result invalid, impose a one-year ban, and publish both names online.
(5)
After check-in is completed, please keep your race materials safe. Lost items will not be reissued. Participants without a bib and chip will lose eligibility to race and receive the finisher gift.
(6)
The event route and aid stations along the course have all been officially approved for use. To maintain event quality and protect the rights of registered runners, runners without bibs are prohibited from entering the course or using aid stations.
(7)
The organizer does not allow substitute runners or transferred entries to enter the event area. In the event of an accident, such persons will not be covered by insurance and must bear the related legal liability.
(8)
The event location has high humidity and large temperature differences between day and night. Please bring your own warm clothing and rain gear.
(9)
The organizer has granted exclusive authorization for race-related commercial activities to various co-organizers or sponsors. Without authorization from the organizer, it is prohibited to conduct related commercial activities using this race, including but not limited to photographing and selling participant images or selling merchandise.
(10)
Anyone not wearing an official staff ID or staff uniform issued by the organizer is prohibited from photographing or filming participants during the event for sale or any other commercial purpose.
(11)
Once a participant registers, it is deemed that they agree to all regulations of this event.
The organizer has the right to broadcast, display, and publish race videos, photos, and results worldwide, including on the association’s website and publications, and participants must agree that their likeness and results may be used for race-related promotion and broadcasting activities.

▶ How Should You Take Energy Gels During an AsiaYo Full/Half Marathon?
AsiaYo's runner tips on energy gel timing:
- Energy gels are the most common and effective on-course fuel for half and full marathons, helping runners maintain blood sugar and stave off fatigue during long-distance running.
- A good rule of thumb: take one gel about 30 minutes before the race, then keep it consistent with another gel roughly every 45 minutes (or every 10K) during the race.
- Always wash it down with water to avoid stomach upset, nausea, or diarrhea — and skip pairing it with sports drinks, which can push your sugar intake too high.
- If you're using caffeinated gels, save them for the back half of the race (around the last 7K of a half, or after 30K in a full) for a boost in focus and to fight fatigue — don't rely on them the whole way through.
▶ Where Are the Hotels in the Marathon Packages Located — Are They Close to the Start/Finish Line?
AsiaYo's marathon package hotel selection strategy puts runners first. Here's what we prioritize:
- Hotels near the start or finish line, so you don't have to wake up in the dark before the race and can get back to rest quickly afterward.
- Transit hubs (like near subway stations or train stations), making it easy to get to the Expo or explore the city.
- Some races offer an early-morning race-day shuttle as an add-on — and we make sure our hotels are located close to those shuttle pickup points whenever possible!

▶ When Booking an AsiaYo Marathon Package, Is the Hotel Close to the Starting Line? Is There a Shuttle?
For AsiaYo's road race packages, accommodation is prioritized to be as close to the starting line as possible, with hotels near a train station or shuttle pickup point as the next best option — ensuring runners can get to the venue conveniently, smoothly, and safely.
▶ Booking an AsiaYo Marathon + Hotel Package — Will the Hotel Offer an "Early Breakfast" or "Boxed Meal" on Race Day?
For Taiwan marathon stays, breakfast timing generally follows the hotel restaurant's actual operating hours. If your race check-in time is earlier than that, we recommend runners bring their own appropriately portioned breakfast or snack.

▶ Running in Spring Rain or Plum Rain Season — How Do You Keep Your Shoes and Gear Dry?
We recommend running shoes built with GORE-TEX waterproofing technology, or spraying a waterproof spray on your shoes before race day. Wearing wool-blend running socks also helps prevent blisters caused by moisture and friction.
