DAY 1
Itinerary Overview-day-1

Kawaguchiko Station → Take a private vehicle to Mount Fuji 5th Station 2305m → 7th Station → Mountain hut at the 8th Station 3200m

Early on the first day, you will meet the tour leader at Kawaguchiko Station and then take a private vehicle to the trailhead at the 5th Station! After arriving at the trailhead, the tour leader will explain important trip notes and help everyone adjust their gear before setting off.

For this trip, we will take the Yoshida Route, which dates back as far as the Edo period. It was the earliest opened and oldest route for climbing Mount Fuji, and it is also a relatively easier route. The mountain huts along the way are spaced about 60 to 90 minutes apart, making it the safest of Mount Fuji’s four main climbing routes.

※Mountain huts on Mount Fuji are resting places for climbers and are all dormitory-style accommodations, so please do not imagine them to be as luxurious as hotels.

Mountain huts do not have showers, and there are no outlets available for charging. Please also check the accommodation facilities online in advance before joining!

DAY 2
Itinerary Overview-day-2
Mount Fuji 8th Station → Enjoy Goraiko at the summit of Mount Fuji → Crater rim walk → 5th Station trailhead → Take a private vehicle back to Kawaguchiko Station Early in the morning on the second day, depart from the mountain hut before dawn and summit Mount Fuji at sunrise to enjoy Goraiko (ごらいごう), the dazzling halo of light that shines at sunrise from the “10th Station” summit of Mount Fuji. The Goraiko seen from the summit is a symbol of blessing and a must-see view for every climber of Mount Fuji. After reaching the summit and beginning the crater rim pilgrimage, descend back to the 5th Station and wait for the private vehicle to take everyone back to Kawaguchiko Station. Until we meet again! 【Important Notes】

※Participants over 60 must submit a health certificate, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.

  1. This tour requires physical training before departure and prior hiking experience on at least one of Taiwan’s Hundred Peaks. After placing an order, you must fill out the required information for the tour leader’s review.
  2. Japan’s “Mount Fuji” reaches an altitude of 3,776 meters and is considered a high-altitude mountaineering activity, where altitude sickness, shortness of breath, and other discomforts can easily occur. Since the second day of the itinerary requires a pre-dawn departure to view Goraiko, physical exertion is relatively high. To ensure your safety and provide a good hiking experience, those without hiking experience should begin physical training 2–3 months before departure. In addition, before the trip, you should first attempt climbing at least one of Taiwan’s “Hundred Peaks” (recommended: Hehuan Peaks, Shimen Mountain) to adapt in advance to alpine terrain and your body’s response to low-oxygen environments.
  3. This itinerary uses an advance reservation registration system. After placing an order, personal information and a hiking experience survey will be collected to confirm whether your hiking experience meets the registration requirements.
  4. If a hiker has high blood pressure, it is recommended to consult a doctor before departure or prepare a health certificate for the tour leader to review on site. No refunds will be given for itinerary changes caused by personal factors.
  5. The departure date may be adjusted by one day earlier or later depending on mountain hut booking results. It is recommended to wait until March or April, after receiving platform confirmation that the mountain hut booking is secured, before purchasing airfare. The actual date will be based on the final confirmed mountain hut arrangement.
  6. Once the group is confirmed, a group chat will be created within one month before departure, and an online pre-trip briefing will be held.
  7. The itinerary may change due to accommodation arrangements and other factors. Please refer to the “Itinerary Information Sheet” issued after departure is confirmed. Locally, the itinerary and restaurant order may also be adjusted due to weather, transportation, or other factors, and our company reserves the right to make such adjustments.
  8. During the trip, force majeure factors such as natural disasters or typhoons may cause mountain closures or prevent summiting, resulting in itinerary changes. We reserve the right to modify the trip, sightseeing items, or change meals and accommodations. If any expenses are saved after such changes, a refund notice will be issued after return. Expenses already incurred are non-refundable, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
  9. Whether to do the crater rim walk and ascend Kengamine, the highest peak of Mount Fuji, will be decided by the tour leader based on the day’s weather/wind conditions and each participant’s physical condition. Please follow the tour leader’s professional judgment.
  10. Vegetarian curry can be provided at the mountain hut. Please make this request when registering.
  11. Estimated meeting and dismissal times: Day 1 08:30 meet at Kawaguchiko Station; Day 2 15:00-16:00 dismiss at Kawaguchiko Station
  12. Mountain hut rooms are dormitory-style. Mountain huts do not have showers, nor are there outlets available for charging. Thick quilts and pillows are provided, so there is no need to bring your own bedding.
  13. Highest post office: It gets very crowded in the morning, and buying stamps may require waiting in line. It is recommended to write your postcards and affix stamps at the foot of the mountain, then bring them up and drop them directly into the mailbox.
  14. There is 4G network coverage along the route, so there is no need to worry about communication issues.
  15. There are many mountain huts along the route selling food, drinks, and hot water. Water is scarce on Mount Fuji, so all water must be purchased from the mountain huts!
  16. There are toilets at the mountain huts along the route, and each use costs JPY 200–300 (depending on the mountain hut’s pricing)
  17. Route differences:

-Yoshida Route: The most suitable route for beginners and first-time hikers.

-Fujinomiya Route: Steeper slope and requires better physical fitness.
