Itinerary Overview

■ Departure dates: 2025/07/10, 07/16, 07/21, 07/28, 07/29, 08/04, 08/11, 08/13, 08/18, 08/25, 08/27, 09/01, 09/08 Itinerary difficulty: ★★★☆☆ ✨ Highlights of the Fujinomiya Route The fastest shortcut to the summit: This route starts at the highest point among the four routes and is the closest to the summit, helping you save quite a bit of energy. Direct access to Japan’s highest point: After reaching the summit, simply turn around and you’ll be at Mt. Fuji’s highest peak, “Kengamine,” where you can take a photo with the 3,776 m marker without circling the crater. Stunning ocean views along the way: As you climb with Suruga Bay behind you, on clear days you can enjoy sweeping views of the blue Pacific Ocean while hiking. Simple route with little risk of getting lost: The same trail is used for both ascent and descent, with clear signs, making it especially friendly for first-time climbers. ⛅ Route reminders: Steeper slopes with some challenge: Although the distance is short, many sections are covered with loose gravel and rocky terrain. We recommend wearing supportive hiking boots and practicing with trekking poles! Prevent altitude sickness: Since the starting point is already at an elevation of 2,400 meters, please rest for 1 hour at the 5th Station to acclimate before setting out, and keep hydrating at all times. Take it slow on the way down: Since the ascent and descent share the same trail, please be courteous to others when it gets crowded. Downhill sections also put more strain on the knees, so remember to save enough energy for the descent. Gear preparation: Mountain weather changes quickly, so a moisture-wicking base layer, warm layer, and waterproof jacket are all essential. Let’s reach the summit safely and beautifully together."

This is a paradise for shoppers, with department stores, electronics streets, drugstores, and trendy clothing shops all available. Department stores such as Odakyu, Keio, and Isetan are all great choices. Shinjuku is also home to Kabukicho, Japan’s most famous red-light district, where countless restaurants, bars, karaoke venues, and adult entertainment establishments gather, earning it the nickname “Japan’s number one entertainment district.” Shinjuku Station is one of Tokyo’s most important transportation hubs, with nearly 4 million passengers per day, making it the busiest railway station in the world by usage. In addition, there are also famous attractions such as Shinjuku Gyoen, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and Golden Gai.
