Day 02

06:30 Take the private bus to Mount Fuji 5th Station (2,300m). Stay at the 5th Station for final supplies and to adjust your breathing and physical condition.

Hiking route (Yoshida Trail):

The Fujiyoshida Trail is the most popular of Mount Fuji's four major climbing routes and is recommended for those with no hiking experience or those trying it for the first time. There are many climbers, so you don't need to worry about getting lost. The entire route has ample facilities and mountain huts, and there are also two first-aid stations, so even first-time climbers can ascend with peace of mind.

5th Station → 6th Station: The slope is gentle and suitable for warming up.

Take the bus to the Yoshida Trail 5th Station at an altitude of 2,300 meters. On the mountain road before arrival, the sun may be shining one moment and a wall of white mist may appear the next—Mount Fuji's ever-changing nature reveals itself even before the climb begins. The many shops at the 5th Station allow everyone to make their final supply stop.

7th Station: Enter the steep rocky section (the "hell section"); gloves are required.

From the 5th Station to the 6th Station, the route is relatively flat. Just when you start to relax and think, ah~ Mount Fuji is actually pretty easy to hike, the section known as the Yoshida Trail's hell stretch suddenly appears before you. From the 7th Station to just before the 8th Station, the previous gravel path gives way to a long stretch of steep rocks underfoot. Hang in there~ once you get through this part, the rest becomes much easier. Have your gloves ready—you'll need them.

Arrive at the 8th Station: Check in to the mountain hut. Enjoy the hut's famous "hamburg steak bento," the warmest comfort food in the chilly high mountains.

(Meals are subject to what the mountain hut can provide. As the hut does not offer vegetarian meals and only provides plain rice, vegetarian group members are kindly asked to take note.)

Day 03

Depart from the 8th Station and climb under the stars to the summit of Mount Fuji (10th Station).

Since we are staying at the 8th Station, we can rest a little longer before setting out. If we're lucky, a sky full of stars will accompany us, along with the night view of Yamanashi Prefecture before our eyes. This is a romantic moment that belongs only to us.

(The mountain hut does not provide bathing facilities, so you may prepare a change of clothes. A headlamp is essential gear for the summit ascent.)

While waiting for the sunrise, we will take everyone to one of the few shops at the summit to shelter from the cold wind. (Supplies on the mountain are hard to obtain, so prices are relatively high.)

Wait quietly at the summit for sunrise and welcome the first rays of dawn, a symbol of good fortune.

Descent challenge! Return to the 5th Station via the volcanic gravel descent trail

After watching the sunrise, another trial awaits you. Your tired feet sink into the endless volcanic gravel path, and every step requires tremendous willpower. Hang in there~ the road to the 5th Station is not far now.

(There is no shelter along the entire route.)

Celebration and healing after the climb

Hot spring bath: After descending, head straight to Fujiyama Onsen near Mount Fuji for a relaxing soak in the warm baths (if Fujiyama Onsen is closed or fully booked, it will be replaced with a hot spring facility of the same class), thoroughly washing away fatigue and volcanic ash.

All-you-can-eat fruit: Enjoy unlimited seasonal fruits in peak harvest (such as peaches and grapes) at Nakagomi Farm or Oyado Farm (the final orchard will be decided before departure after confirming fruit conditions with each orchard; actual on-site arrangements shall prevail).

(This is a reference image—you won't actually be soaking in a hot spring with cute monkeys.)

(Meals are subject to actual on-site availability.)

Return to Shinjuku by bus and disband, concluding the trip.
