Southeast Asia’s highest peak — Mount Kinabalu, also known as Gunung Kinabalu or the Chinese Widow Mountain. Located within Kinabalu National Park in Sabah, Malaysia, its highest point is Low’s Peak at an elevation of 4,095.2 meters. Towering into the clouds, on clear days it offers sweeping views across the vast beauty of Sabah. It is not only the highest peak in Southeast Asia, but also a dream summit longed for by mountaineers from around the world. Mount Kinabalu has a history of 1.5 million years. Its geology and ecosystem, shaped by the hands of nature, have created the magnificent scenery seen today. Rising by 0.5 centimeters each year, Mount Kinabalu is a living sandstone mountain range, where tectonic mountain-building activity continues to this day. Its landscape, formed by various granite intrusions and sculpted by wind, rain, and sun, features a spectacular plateau that also preserves U-shaped valleys and glacial striations from the Ice Age 100,000 years ago. Amid its strange peaks and dramatic rock formations, it presents the breathtaking sunrise from Southeast Asia’s highest summit, with a solemn grandeur that stands proudly above all other mountains. Usually shrouded in mist, its true face can only be admired in the early morning.

《Malaysia》
Starting from September 15, 2015, holders of Taiwan passports (with at least six months of validity remaining) may enter Malaysia visa-free for tourism and stay for up to 30 days. Upon arrival, travelers must present a return air ticket for inspection and prepare proof of financial means equivalent to USD 100 per person per day (including credit cards). Immigration officers may conduct spot checks on site, and if a traveler does not meet the requirements, immigration authorities reserve the right to decide whether entry will be permitted.
**Currently applicable entry points include: Kuala Lumpur (KUL), Penang (PEN), Sabah (BKI), Sarawak (Kuching KCH), Johor Bahru (JHB) airports, as well as Johor Bahru Checkpoint 1 (Woodlands) and Checkpoint 2 (TUAS), for a total of seven points**
●Office address: Room 1208, No. 205, Dunhua North Road, Taipei City Tel: (02)2716-7075
●Dual nationality notice: Malaysia does not recognize dual nationality. Whichever passport is used to enter the Republic of China (Taiwan) must also be used to enter Malaysia. In other words, if you hold dual nationality, such as a Canadian passport and a Republic of China passport, and you entered Taiwan using your Republic of China passport, you may not use your Canadian passport to enjoy visa-free entry into Malaysia. You must use your Republic of China passport to enter Malaysia and apply for a Malaysian visa. (If both passports bear Taiwan entry and exit stamps, then you may use your Canadian passport for visa-free entry into Malaysia under this condition.)
★Passport-related notes★
1. Passports must not be stained, damaged, missing pages, altered without authorization, tampered with, stamped with unauthorized marks, or have stickers attached.
2. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of return to your home country.
3. Travelers with special status (e.g. military personnel, police officers, conscription-age men, etc.) and those in professions requiring permission to travel abroad must apply for an “exit permit” from the relevant authorities before departure and carry the relevant documents for inspection on the day of travel.
4. If the information on your Republic of China national ID card has changed (including name, ID number, date of birth, restricted entry/exit status, etc.) and no longer matches the information in your passport, or if your appearance has changed and no longer matches your passport photo, you must apply for a new passport before traveling abroad.
5. If your passport has previously been reported lost to the police, the original passport is no longer valid. You must apply for a new passport before traveling abroad.
6. For travelers with dual nationality or non-Republic of China nationality: The passport and visa regulations described above apply only to travelers holding Republic of China passports. If you hold dual nationality or a non-Republic of China passport, please make your own arrangements in advance and confirm the visa and related entry requirements for entering your destination and re-entering Taiwan with your passport. If you fall under the above circumstances, please inform your service representative at the time of booking. (Note: Some countries require an IC chip passport for visa-free entry, so please be sure to check carefully.)
★Entry card information★
Starting from December 1, 2023, all travelers entering Malaysia must complete the “Malaysia Digital Arrival Card” (MDAC) online. This applies to all modes of entry - land, sea, and air.
