Itinerary Overview

[One of Japan’s 100 Best Marathons] The Lake Toya Marathon takes place at Lake Toya, a lake located in southwestern Hokkaido, Japan. The lake never freezes in winter, making it Japan’s northernmost ice-free lake, with crystal-clear waters shimmering throughout all four seasons. While running the Lake Toya Marathon, take in the beautiful scenery of Mt. Yotei and the Usu volcanic crater, achieve your best performance, and experience the late-arriving spring of the north together! Run freely along the shores of Lake Toya, accompanied by cool refreshing breezes, rows of cherry blossoms, and Mt. Yotei.
