2027 Taitung Puyuma Triathlon is one of Taiwan's longest-running and most iconic long-distance triathlon events. The race uses the calm and beautiful Huoshui Lake in Taitung as the swim course, while the bike and run segments take place along the East Coast Highway and through Forest Park. With multiple distances including 226KM, 113KM, and 51.5KM, as well as a two-day race option, the event attracts countless triathletes from Taiwan and abroad to gather in Taitung and enjoy an outstanding experience of pushing their limits amid the mountain and ocean scenery of eastern Taiwan.

★Excellent waters of Huoshui Lake: A calm enclosed body of water formed by spring water, with clear water and no waves, making it ideal for achieving a great swim result.

1. Receive your identification pass: Please check the email address used when placing your order for the Boarding Information Email.
2. Print the identification pass: Print out the Identification Pass attached in the email (required for station entry and exit inspection).
3. Bicycle packing requirements (must be completed before entering the station)
4. The bicycle must be fully packed before entering the ticket gate, and the packing must comply with the following rules:

※A standard bicycle bag must be used: the bicycle must be fully enclosed with no parts exposed. Plastic bags, cloth bags, or other substitute packaging are not allowed.

※Size limits: maximum length on any one side: no more than 150 cm; total length + width + height: no more than 220 cm

※Station entry, exit, and boarding procedures

【Entering the station】: Before entering the ticket gate, the bicycle must be completely packed into the bicycle bag.

【Inspection】: Use the staffed ticket gate and present the printed Identification Pass for inspection by station staff.

【Exiting the station】: Keep the bicycle properly packed at all times. It is strictly prohibited to remove the bicycle from the bag before exiting the ticket gate.

※Friendly reminder: Remember to bring your printed paper Identification Pass with you, and arrive at the station early to allow enough time for packing and inspection!

【Pre-order and Seat Assignment Notes】

• Pre-order product terms: This transfer service is a pre-order product.
• Estimated departure time slots: outbound departure is expected between 08:00 - 09:00; return departure is expected between 14:00 - 15:00.
• Seat assignment mechanism and results: After payment is completed, train tickets will be assigned 2 months before departure. Seat availability and actual train schedule are subject to the final seat assignment result (100% successful seat assignment is not guaranteed). (1) Protection for fragile parts: When handing over the bike before and after the race, the sender must properly wrap the fragile parts of the bike to prevent scratches or collisions during transport.

(2) Mandatory wrapping standard: The wrapping must cover at least the 6 key parts shown in the image (see the illustration below).

II. Safety and Insurance Plan

Professional cargo transport insurance is provided throughout the entire transport process in accordance with the law. However, the actual claim rules are subject to the final insurance policy content for the specific event.

1. During bike handover and pickup, on-site staff will conduct complete inspections and photo records to ensure delivery safety at every stage.

III. Bike Drop-off Notes

When handing over the bike, please remove all accessories that are not fixed with screws, including the rear bottle cage. Mounts may remain, but this service is not responsible for safekeeping in case of loss or damage.

2. Race venue bike pickup: The recipient must present the order. After on-site staff confirm the order is correct and both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be collected.

3. Post-race bike handover: On-site staff will confirm the shipper's information. After both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form. Staff may only accept the bike after confirming this step is completed.

4. Post-race bike pickup: The recipient must present the order. After on-site staff confirm the order is correct and both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be collected.

II. Reminder of Fees Arising from On-site Operations

1. Late bike handover or pickup: During the race (event), those who fail to hand over or pick up the bike within the specified time will be charged a service fee of NT$500. (This does not apply if affected by scheduling adjustments made by the race (event) organizer.)

2. Overdue storage fee: If the bicycle is not collected within the announced pickup time after the race (or event), a storage fee of NT$50 per bike per day will be charged starting from the following day after the deadline. The bike can only be collected after all related fees are paid. Storage is available for up to 1 month; if it exceeds 1 month, the storage fee will be changed to NT$100 per bike per day starting from the day after the 1-month limit is exceeded.
