Drop off your luggage
Please give us a notice if you would like to drop off your luggage before checking in time, so that we will be able to make sure someone is at reception. The guesthouse can be closed during daytime especially during low season (Dec-Feb, Jun, Sep).
Arriving late
If you arrive after 9 pm without notification, and we are not able to contact you, there will be no staff and you will be locked out. So please make sure to let us know.
Accommodation Tax Excluded
An accommodation tax is required in Kyoto from Oct 2018. Guests (both adults and children) are required to pay this extra tax by cash when you check in.
• JPY200 per guest per night if the room rate per night is less than JPY6,600
• JPY400 per guest per night if the room rate per night is JPY6,600 and more, less than JPY22,000
• JPY1,000 per guest per night if the room rate per night is JPY22,000 and more
* This is the new tax rate which is going to be implemented in March 2026.
* 10% consumption tax is included in the room charge.
Children Price
0-9 years old - We are sorry but we are not able to accept.
10 years and over - Considered as an adult, same price as adult price.

We basically do not accept groups. Please send email and ask for advice if you are trying to book more than 3 rooms.
