■Important Event Rules and Notes

• Swimming
• Participants must wear the swim cap provided by the organizer. Other swim caps are prohibited for identification purposes.
• Please enter the water according to staff instructions. Timing will only begin after the participant passes over the chip timing mat.
• If participants bring a tow float, novelty swim ring, large inflatable float, etc., they must follow regulations and enter the water in the designated wave. First-time triathletes are advised to bring a tow float.
• The LAVAV Tri series allows wetsuits and tow floats.
• Cycling
• If a bicycle malfunction occurs during the race, mobile repair vehicles will patrol the course. You may inform the repair vehicle if you need assistance resolving the issue.
• For the cycling segment, only intersections will be controlled and roads will not be closed. During the ride, participants must keep to the right, obey traffic signals, and pay attention to traffic conditions.
• Participants are responsible for understanding the course and confirming their own lap count. Staff can only provide directional guidance and cannot track each participant's route.
• For safety reasons, music playback devices and photo/video recording equipment are prohibited in this event.
• There is no drafting prohibition in the cycling segment of this event, but participants must pay attention to their own riding safety and that of others.
• Water bottles will no longer be provided at cycling aid stations, and static aid will be used. Participants must stop safely before eating and drinking sufficiently, then continue.
• E-bikes are welcome for an elegant challenge, and folding bikes are also OK as long as you assess that you can finish.
• Tandem bicycles are only permitted for athletes with disabilities and must be requested in advance by email to the organizer for transition area planning.
• No park vehicles! Course and transition area capacity is limited, so only standard-sized bicycles are allowed.
• Running
• Participants must complete the running segment by running, walking, or crawling.
• For participant safety, skateboards, scooters, electric vehicles, roller skates, and other high-speed devices that may cause danger are not allowed during the running segment.
• Participants must wear the official race bib on the front of their body throughout the running segment.
• Participants are responsible for understanding the course. Staff can only provide directional guidance and cannot track each participant's movement, so please confirm your own lap count.
• Transition Area
• Non-participants or those not currently competing are strictly prohibited from entering the transition area.
• When entering or exiting the transition area, you will pass through a narrower bicycle lane. Please do not overtake and reduce your speed to a safe level.
• Participants must follow the mount/dismount lines marked by the organizer when passing through the transition area.
• Riding is not allowed in the transition area, and helmets must be properly worn even when walking your bike.
• The relative placement of participants' bicycles and belongings should be as follows: the bicycle is placed on the right side, and the participant's belongings are placed at the lower left side of the bicycle and hung from the handlebars for easier access and greater stability, reducing the risk of damage to yourself or other bicycles due to wind.
• If a participant does not follow the organizer's designated route within the transition area, the organizer has the right to disqualify them.
• Relay teams must complete the timing chip handoff inside the relay tent in the transition area. Violators may be disqualified by the organizer.
• Different race categories will use the transition area at different times, so participants are asked to be courteous to one another.
• There is only one route for entering and exiting the transition area. Frequent arbitrary entry and exit is not allowed, as it may cause confusion in chip timing detection. If participants have special needs, please explain them to transition area staff; otherwise, any timing detection errors will be the participant's own responsibility.
• General Rules
• Please comply with the course clearance and station closure times for each segment. Violators are responsible for their own safety.
• Participants must bring their National Health Insurance card to protect their medical rights.
• To ensure participants have sufficient time to warm up before the event begins and avoid physical discomfort, participants must gather at the designated location according to the scheduled assembly time listed in the "Event Schedule" of this guide. Late arrivals will be disqualified.
• To prevent accidents, those who feel unwell should not force themselves to participate. The event director or physician has the right to stop a participant from continuing or to disqualify them based on their physical condition, and the participant may not object; otherwise, all responsibility will be borne by the participant.
• Please carefully consider your own health condition before participating in this event. If you feel unwell, do not push yourself. If you have a history of heart disease, vascular disease, diabetes, or similar conditions, do not conceal your condition and do not participate. If any accident occurs during the event, the participant shall bear full responsibility, and the organizer shall not be liable.
• Littering on the course is strictly prohibited. Any waste such as water bottles, energy gels, parts, inner tubes, or even clothing accessories may only be discarded at aid stations.
• If a typhoon or force majeure natural disaster occurs before the event, the organizer has the right to cancel, postpone, or adjust the event route for the safety of participants and attendees. Please pay close attention to related change notices. If the event is postponed due to a typhoon or force majeure natural disaster and a participant is unable to attend, the registration fee already paid will not be refunded separately.
• Participants agree that videos and photos of this event may be broadcast, exhibited, or published on the organizer's website and publications, and participants must consent to the use of their likeness for related promotional activities.
• The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules at any time.

■Timing chip

• This event uses reusable timing chips, and no chip deposit is required.
• If a participant fails to return or loses the chip, compensation of NT$2,000 is required, and the organizer has the right to cancel the participant's results.
• Participants must wear the chip on their left ankle throughout the event and must not cover it under clothing to avoid poor detection.
• If you decide to withdraw before the event after receiving the chip, or withdraw during the event, please proactively return the chip to the event service desk or hand it to staff on the course so the organizer can confirm your location and safety.
• Participants are advised to use the chip strap issued by the organizer. Using other methods to secure the chip may increase the risk of losing it.

• Pre-order product terms: This transfer service is a pre-order product.
• Bicycle Rules: On "Bicycle & Passenger Trains", full bikes can be brought directly into the carriage without folding or packing. On non-Bicycle & Passenger trains, bikes must be packed using a standard bicycle bag according to the above regulations.
• Estimated departure time slots: The outbound train is expected to depart between 08:00 - 09:00; the return train is expected to depart between 14:00 - 15:00.
• Seat reservation process and results: After payment for the order is completed, Bicycle & Passenger Train seats will be prioritized for your booking. Train tickets will be reserved 2 months before departure. Seat availability and the actual train schedule are subject to the final reservation result (100% successful reservation is not guaranteed). If tickets are unavailable during the originally expected time slot, other suitable Bicycle & Passenger Train departures on the same day will be prioritized as replacements.
• If seat reservation is unsuccessful: If Bicycle & Passenger Train seats cannot ultimately be reserved, you will be proactively adjusted to "other train types" or "private vehicle transfer". If the adjusted transportation cost is lower, the difference will be refunded after deducting a handling fee of NT$125/person; if there is no price difference or if the replacement transport costs more, no additional fees will be charged, ensuring your trip proceeds smoothly and comfortably.
• Boarding information notice: Exact boarding information (including train seat reservation results and departure times, or private vehicle transfer details) will be sent to your email 2 months before departure. Please refer to the email notification at that time for detailed arrangements and monitor your inbox closely.
• Special Reminder: If Bicycle & Passenger Train seats are not successfully reserved, bicycles must be disassembled and packed for all alternative transport options. If you cannot accept disassembling your bike, we recommend purchasing the "Bicycle Freight Service" or carefully evaluating your purchase.

• Bike pickup point: Pick up between 2027/3/16 - 2027/3/23 (pickup point can be filled in in detail under the "Traveler Information" section after purchase)

※ Please be sure to fill in the outbound bike drop-off point and return bike pickup point in detail under the "Traveler Information" section after ordering so that transport can be arranged for you.

※ The outbound bike drop-off point and return bike pickup point must be the same location. (E.g. drop off at Point A outbound, pick up at Point A on return)

※ The transport provider will email the bike drop-off/pickup instructions and operating steps to the email address used for your order no later than "the day before bike collection"

※ Improperly packed items will not be accepted for transport (bike disassembly is not required)

※ For bike handover before and after the race, the sender must properly protect fragile parts of the bicycle to prevent scratches during transport.

Terms of Use

【Bicycle Shipping Service Notes】

Thank you for choosing the bicycle shipping service. The transport provider will offer you high-quality, safe, and reliable transport service during the race (event). Please read the following carefully before purchasing and dropping off your bicycle:

I. Transport Method Description

1. Vehicle used for transport: The most suitable transport arrangement will be provided based on the cooperating service provider and the needs of each race (event).
2. Bicycle securing: Professional securing methods that meet safety standards will be used according to the transport vehicle type and event specifications.
3. Bike collection location: Designated bike collection points will be set according to different events or cooperating service providers.
4. Bicycle protection measures and shipping regulations: Please refer to the actual announcement for the specific event or service provider.

＊If the event requires wrapping, the sender must comply with the following regulations: To reduce risks arising from unexpected vibration or collision during transport, "unwrapped bicycles" are strictly refused for this event.

(1) Protection for fragile parts: When handing over the bicycle before and after the race, the sender must properly protect fragile parts of the bicycle to prevent scratches or collisions during transport.

(2) Mandatory wrapping standard: The bicycle must be wrapped at least at the 6 key parts shown in the illustration below (see the specification diagram below).

II. Safety and Insurance Plan

The entire transport process is covered by professional cargo transport insurance in accordance with the law. However, actual claim regulations are subject to the final policy content purchased for the specific event.

1. During bike drop-off and pickup, on-site staff will conduct complete inspections and photo records to ensure delivery safety at every stage.

III. Bicycle Drop-Off Notes

When dropping off your bicycle, please remove all accessories that are not screw-fixed from the bike yourself (including rear bottle cages). Mounts may remain, but this service is not responsible for safekeeping in case of loss or damage.

【On-Site Bike Drop-Off/Pickup Procedures and Notes】

I. Shipping Inspection and Photo Process

1. Pre-race bike drop-off: On-site staff will confirm the shipper's information. After both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form. Staff must confirm this step is completed before accepting the bike.

2. Bike pickup at the event venue: The recipient must present the order. After on-site staff confirm the order is correct and both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be collected.

3. Post-race bike drop-off: On-site staff will confirm the shipper's information. After both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form. Staff must confirm this step is completed before accepting the bike.

4. Post-race bike pickup: The recipient must present the order. After on-site staff confirm the order is correct and both parties verify the bike condition, the customer must take photos and upload them to the inspection form as a pickup record before the bike can be collected.

II. Reminder of Fees Arising from On-Site Operations

1. Late bike drop-off or pickup: During the race (event), those who fail to drop off or pick up their bicycle within the specified time will be charged an additional service fee of NT$500. (This does not apply if affected by scheduling adjustments made by the race/event organizer.)

2. Overdue storage fee: If a bicycle is not picked up within the announced pickup time after the race (or event), a storage fee of NT$50 per bicycle per day will be charged starting from the following day after the deadline. The bicycle may only be collected after all related fees are paid. Storage is available for up to 1 month; if it exceeds 1 month, the storage fee will change to NT$100 per bicycle per day starting from the day after the 1-month limit is exceeded.

※ This bicycle shipping service is provided by the cooperating transport service provider "Leader," which is responsible for the actual bike collection, transport, and return service. AsiaYo acts as an intermediary to assist travelers with reservations and information communication. 【Insurance Service Description】

Travel agency liability insurance: This itinerary has been insured in accordance with regulations for relevant travel agency liability insurance.

※ In order to handle the application and claims process for "travel agency liability insurance," our company will collect necessary personal information from you and your accompanying travelers, including name, ID number (or passport number), date of birth, and contact phone number. Please confirm that the information provided for yourself and your accompanying travelers is accurate and complete, and agree that AsiaYo may provide the above information to the insurance company for policy processing. If false information is provided or if you refuse to provide the information, it may result in inability to process claims, and you will bear the related responsibility yourself.

【Cancellation Policy】

• Cancellation on or before Dec 11, 2026: A 30% fee of the respective item cost will be charged.
• Cancellation between Dec 12, 2026 and Jan 10, 2027 (inclusive): A 50% fee of the respective item cost will be charged.
• Cancellation on or after Jan 11, 2027: A 100% fee of the respective item cost will be charged (non-refundable).

AsiaYo Sports Travel Booking Service Process

1. Book online and submit your order: Choose your preferred race itinerary on the AsiaYo platform and complete the booking.
2. Receive race information form: AsiaYo will send the "Race Information Form" by email within 48 business hours.
3. Fill in race information: After receiving the email, please be sure to complete and return the required information within 24 hours to secure your registration spot.
4. Receive final itinerary information: 5–7 days before check-in, AsiaYo will update and send you the final detailed itinerary information.
5. On-site check-in and hotel check-in: On race day or at hotel check-in, please be sure to bring the original copy of your "passport/ID document" to complete hotel check-in and collect race-related materials.
