Tints of blue is an excellent little hotel , very good value for money, we stayed for 4 nights at start of our holiday and 3 nights at the end , we had rooms on the 4th & 7th floor, both of them were really spacious and beds were very comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews there is a construction site at rear of hotel at present but to be honest it’s not an issue, we stayed around the pool area a couple of times in the mid afternoon and yes you know there is work taking place but it soon fades into the background and you forget it’s going on to be honest, it certainly doesn’t detract anything from the hotel.
The hotel is tucked away down the back of soi 27 and if you miss the hotel tuk tuk on its return journey from the Main Street it really is only a 5 min walk, just walk to the end of the street (it zig zags right & left) and at the very end take the left and hotel is at the end on your left , the tuk tuk will take you from hotel to Main Street at anytime of day between 0700-2300 .
Breakfast choice is very good and all the staff we encountered were super friendly and very happy to help with any enquiries.
As someone mentioned in an earlier review the decking on the top floor of pool area could do with a bit of maintenance as there a few pieces that have come loose, however don’t let this put you off if you’re thinking of staying here as it is definitely a hotel we would return to when next in Bangkok and our advice would be for anyone else to do likewise
