A good stay, great staff
Stayed here three nights whilst visiting Bangkok, wanted to experience the local culture and this is well placed.
Arrival was great and check in efficient, room was very nice, the only issue we had with the room was the carpet was stained. The rooftop bar was reasonably priced and provided a great service with very attentive staff (beware I got lots of mossi bites - ask for and use their mossi spray!) Breakfast was nice you can order from an a la carte menu and this was good, and plenty of choice on the buffet.
In particular we liked the hotels Tuk Tuk service who would take you and (if you phone the hotel) pick you up from a few close points - the position was good, far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet but a tuk tuk ride away from Terminal 21 shopping centre - with a wealth of restaurants - try the cafeteria (pier 21) - very cheap and the locals use it! The river boat, used by the locals to get to central Bangkok was really efficient and possible one of my holiday highlights. a short walk or tuk tuk away from the water taxi pier and a memorable trip with stops at Jim Thompson house and, fairly close, at the far end of the ride(A short taxi ride away) from the Grand Palace - This cost a few pence and you will see what local life is like!
Can we particularly say the staff were great, helpful and very attentive
