Traveler Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AsiaYo.com) sets forth these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the Terms), and these terms have been provided in detail below. If you have not read or have not accepted these Terms, please do not use this site. By using all or any part of this website, you agree to be bound by all the Terms of this website.

AsiaYo.com may amend these Terms at any time, and you must agree to the updated terms of service before you can continue to use this website. If you continue to use this website, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms of Service.

1. AsiaYo.com is only responsible for the provision of booking services for certain items of travel services and does not own or operate matters of travel services or provide any business accommodation.

2. Contents of this agreement shall apply to individual lodging travelers who book rooms with legal home-stay operators and hostel owners (hereinafter referred to as Hostel Owners) through AsiaYo.com.

3. The counter-party to your contractual act is the Operator, not AsiaYo.com. It is the responsibility of the Operator to provide you with travel services. In case of any issues, AsiaYo.com's liability is limited to the refund of the total amount you paid for your room.

4. AsiaYo.com is not responsible for any opinions provided by the relevant Operators or consumers on the website as home-stay/hostel rating, comments and objective information from third parties including netizens, among others.

1. You hereby warrant to AsiaYo.com that this website will not be used for any activities that are related to illegal business activities or prohibited by these Terms and are committed to abiding by the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China and all the international practices of Internet use. If you are a user outside of the Republic of China, you agree to abide by the laws of your home country or region. You also agree not to use this website to engage in acts that infringe upon the rights and interests of others or are in violation of the law.

2. You confirm with AsiaYo.com that you have reached the legal age of using this website and are solely responsible for any liability you may incur in using this website. You understand and agree to be responsible for the trading obligations arising out of your use of this website and others’ use of this website with your login details. When minors book rooms via AsiaYo.com, their legal representative must first read, understand and agree with all the contractual contents and rules before they may proceed with the ordering process. By continuing to use this platform, your legal representative has read, understood and agreed to accept all the contractual contents and rules.

3. This website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than AsiaYo.com. Such hyperlinks are for reference only. Such websites are not owned by AsiaYo.com and we assume no responsibility for their contents.

1. AsiaYou.com does not warrant that all the information posted on this website is correct. By using this website, you understand that the information about home-stay, apartments and all types of accommodation posted on this website, as well as all the other information including that on travel services, may be inaccurate or misspelled. All bookings for travel services you make on this website are done with the Operator, not with AsiaYo.com.

2. AsiaYo.com allows you to book diversified and corresponding services from Operators through our platform. AsiaYo.com is not a party to any contract executed by and between you and the Operator, and will not assume any liabilities or obligations for, either directly or indirectly, any terms of such contract.

3. Before booking, please confirm that you have thoroughly reviewed the terms and conditions of the Operator and confirm that you can accept them.

4. AsiaYo.com and its managers, employees or other agents will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising out of or resulting from the use of any information, products, services and/or materials provided on this website.

5. Although AsiaYo.com has made proper efforts to ensure that the travel services listed on this website meet reasonable standards, none of the travel services listed on this website may be regarded as recommended by AsiaYo.com or as indicating that such travel services will be applicable to the user. AsiaYo.com will not be held responsible if such travel services do not apply to you.

This Contract shall apply to individual lodging travelers who book rooms with Hostel Owners through AsiaYo.com

1. Online bookingFor accommodation booking, you need to fill in your payment information in advance to ensure that this room is booked. AsiaYo.com will complete the refund immediately when the order is canceled or is not entered into. If you are an international booking traveler, you may have to pay a small amount of overseas transaction charges and remittances when receiving a refund. Taiwanese booking travelers do not need to pay such amount.

2. Particulars of booking and room ratesThe total room charges (including the agreed rate, cleaning fees, extra charges such as dining/extra bed/connection, etc.) and the payment method are specified in the Room Booking Contract, which also includes the subjects of performance.

3. Lodging traveler cancellation of booking

   • The Hostel Owner will choose one of the standardized cancellation policies (A. the active type; B. the general type; C. the conservative type; D. the strict type).

   • The purpose is to protect the rights and interests of both the Hostel Owner and the customers. The cancellation policy is a contract entered into by and between the Hostel Owner and the customers, as agreed upon by the lodging traveler after he/she has read in detail.

   • AsiaYo.com is only responsible for providing transaction platform services and will not assume any direct or indirect responsibilities or obligations for any terms of the Room Booking Contract.

   • The booking of each room type on AsiaYo.com includes detailed descriptions of the cancellation policy set out by the Hostel Owner. Lodging travelers who wish to cancel their booking can go to the “My Home” “Booking” page of AsiaYo.com to check/print the order details and cancel his/her booking. AsiaYo.com will refund the total amount of the room charges paid in accordance with the cancellation policy set out by the Hostel Owner.

   • Please note!
     All refunds due to cancellation, modification of booking or early departure will be refunded in accordance with your original preferred payment method (including credit card, UnionPay card , ATM transfer and E-wallet) as long as the provisions of the refund policy are complied with. Please allow a few business days after we receive the item to process your return and credit your payment. Refund timeline to credit cards depends on the progress of individual credit card companies in their account settlement, which would take about 3 to 14 working days. ATM refund would take about 3 to 5 working days.The refunds of e-wallets, digital wallets, or the other payment system will base on the service provider.

4. Processing feesAsiaYo.com will not charge any additional processing fees when receiving card payments, but some credit card issuing banks will charge foreign exchange settlement fee for foreign exchange trading in NTD. If you have any questions, please contact your credit card issuing bank (according to the regulations issued by each issuing bank, the processing fee will be 1.55%-2.05% of the amount spent).

5. Receipt/InvoiceAsiaYo.com will send you a Booking Success Letter for check-in voucher. It is the host will provide a receipt or invoice upon guest check-out, and it will be noted in the Check-in Rules.

6. The rights and obligations to be complied with for accommodation

   • Persons under the age of 18 cannot stay alone, and once discovered may be denied check-in by the Hostel Owner, and the amount paid will not be refunded. Please confirm before checking in that at least one of the occupants is at least 18 years of age (or has reached the statutory adult age in accordance with the laws of his/her home country or region) with full capacity.

   • In case of any failure of room equipment that is not due to the lodging traveler, the lodging traveler shall immediately notify the Hostel Owner to handle, change, or repair such failure, but if the quality of accommodation is affected, the traveler may demand replacement of the room or providing alternative accommodation.

   • Lodging travelers shall pay attention to and comply with the management regulations of the Hostel Owner in using the facilities of the Hostel Owner. If any damage or destruction is caused by intention or negligence, the traveler shall be liable for it.

   • The following obligations are applicable to medium and long-term travelers:

     • Obligation to keep safe the furniture and articles attached to the property: Lodging travelers shall properly use, keep safe the property and the furniture and articles attached thereto. In the event of any damage to or loss of the furniture and articles attached to the property caused by the lodging traveler in violation of his/her custodian obligations, he/she shall be liable for it. However, in the event of the property damaged due to a fire, the civil law specifically stipulates that unless the fire is caused by the intention or gross negligence of the lodging traveler, the lodging traveler shall not be liable for any damages arising from the fire.

     • Obligation to notify hazards: During the period of stay, the Hostel Owner shall be responsible for any necessary repair to the property and the accompanying furniture and articles; or if there is a need to repair the facilities in order to prevent any danger, the lodging traveler shall notify the Hostel Owner. If the lodging travelers fail to provide such notice and result in the Hostel Owner not being able to timely obtain relief, the lodging travelers shall compensate for the damage caused thereby.

     • Obligation to return the leased items: The tenant shall, after the termination of the lease relationship, return the leased items in the original state at the time of leasing. The so-called original state, of course, refers to the due state after use under the original or normal circumstances.

7. Treatment of failures not caused by either partyIf the tour destination county/city declares cessation of school and work, or the ship, railway, aviation or other transport companies cancel temporarily any booked transportation by the traveler, resulting in failure of the trip of the traveler, due to force majeure or other causes not attributable to either party, including but not limited to the acts of God such as typhoons, earthquakes and other major disasters, the lodging traveler shall have the right to cancel the room booking date, and AsiaYo.com will return the total room charges already paid by the lodging traveler, but the lodging traveler shall pay the relevant cancellation fee. The lodging traveler’s cancellation due to the speculation of bad weather will be considered as a personal cause and the foregoing provision may not apply.

8. Personal Information ProtectionAsiaYo.com collects, processes and uses the personal information of lodging travelers in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and has the duty of confidentiality. AsiaYo.com may not, without the written consent of the lodging travelers or without being in compliance with the statutory exceptions, disclose the same or use the same for any purposes outside of the scope of the Contract. This provision shall survive the termination of this contractual relationship.

9. Dispute Resolution

   • The formation and interpretation of this Contract shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China. In the event of a lawsuit arising out of the legal relationship of this Contract, the parties agree that the Shilin District Court in Taiwan shall be the court of first instance competent jurisdiction.

In the event of a credit card fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by a third party, you shall immediately contact your account opening bank or card issuing bank, as soon as you become aware of such unauthorized use. If you suspect that someone has made an unauthorized or fraudulent booking through AsiaYo.com, please contact our customer service team immediately.

2. In order to successfully complete the booking, you must be at least 18 years of age (or has reached the statutory adult age at your home country or region) and have the full capacity to conduct transactions. Minors shall need the consent of your legal representative in order to do so. The credit card or Visa financial card you promised to use is owned by you, or you have been authorized to use the card to complete the booking and guarantee that there is sufficient balance in the card to complete the transaction. You accept payment obligations for any transactions conducted in your name and using your account.In order to successfully complete the booking, you must be at least 18 years of age (or has reached the statutory adult age at your home country or region) and have the full capacity to conduct transactions.

3. Minors shall need the consent of your legal representative in order to do so. The credit card or Visa financial card you promised to use is owned by you, or you have been authorized to use the card to complete the booking and guarantee that there is sufficient balance in the card to complete the transaction. You accept payment obligations for any transactions conducted in your name and using your account.

All information, contents, photos, text, sound, images, buttons, trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos on AsiaYo.com are protected by the Copyright Act, Trademark Act and other intellectual property regulations of the Republic of China and international treaties.

AsiaYo.com or its licensors, as the case may be, reserves all the rights, titles, interests and intellectual property rights contained in these materials. You may not change, copy, distribute, send, display, execute, reproduce, post, mimic, forward or sell any information, material, software, products or services obtained from this website. If anyone violates this rule, we will pursue his/her legal responsibility.

You agree to be responsible for any loss or liability suffered by AsiaYo.com, its affiliates, managers, employees, agents and other partners and claims or demands by any collaborators (including but not limited to litigation fees and attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of this website, and you warrant that you will indemnify AsiaYo.com and its affiliates, managers, employees, agents and other partners from any loss.

The terms of service are available in both Chinese and English. In the event of any discrepancies, the Chinese version shall prevail.
