I had a 24 hour layover in Seoul and chose this hotel based on the proximity to Seoul Station.
From Incheon, the train journey is about one hour to Seoul Station. Fortunately, the hotel is less than a five minute walk from Exit 12. There is a slight hill, but it’s moderate and not overwhelming.
The staff were super pleasant and offered to take my luggage up. I declined since I only had a carry-on, but note there is no elevator in this hotel.
Don’t expect opulent space. The rooms are compact, but comfortable. As is typical in Seoul, the bathroom includes the sink, shower and toilet - there’s no separation of the shower.
I slept comfortably and the streets are quiet during the night.
I only paid $40 for the night so it’s certainly easy on the wallet. As far as location, it’s a walker’s dream. Seoul Station connects to high-speed rail as well as metro lines. Myeongdong is about a 30 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of eateries around including those at Seoul Station.
If you’re a budget traveler or low maintenance, I highly recommend this place.
